Melissa Eick is a Co-Founder and Director of Advancement for Dragonfly, Oklahoma City’s only nonprofit organization that is state-certified to serve victim-survivors of human trafficking. Specializing in human trafficking advocacy and victim services since 2013, Melissa has educated thousands on the complexities of human trafficking, empowering communities to support comprehensive, trauma-informed services for survivors, and helped build and lead Dragonfly.
A licensed attorney, Melissa holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law and a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
Melissa also serves as Co-Chair of the Policy & Data Committee for the Oklahoma Coalition Against Human Trafficking, where she helps shape impactful legislation and policy. Her contributions have been recognized with the Outstanding Human Rights Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Chapter of the United Nations Association (2019) and the Ten Years of Service Award from the Oklahoma Coalition Against Human Trafficking (2023).
Melissa is also a writer, consultant, and international speaker who specializes in helping individuals, teams, and organizations with practical tools to balance productivity and well-being.
