Since 2019, Kathia Oviedo’s journey at Dragonfly has been deeply rooted in her commitment to supporting survivors of human trafficking. She progressed from Bilingual Service Coordinator to Case Manager to Associate Program Director and has proudly served as Program Director since 2025.
Kathia holds a degree in Crime and Victim Survivor Services from OSU-OKC. She’s also bilingual—a skill that allows her to connect with a diverse range of clients and provide trauma-informed and culturally sensitive services.
Under her leadership as Program Director, Kathia launched new processes for both the Case Management and Hotline programs, ensuring that her team can serve survivors as effectively as possible.
At the heart of everything Kathia does is her strong dedication to a creating a safe space for every person served through Dragonfly. She is honored to be part of an organization that stands in support of Human Trafficking survivors and remains committed to continually evolving the programs to meet their complex and unique needs. Above all, her focus is on building a sense of community and belonging for survivors—a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered.
