Home / Whitney Anderson, M.B.A.
Where others saw darkness, Whitney Anderson saw a call to bring hope. While in her MBA program, she was first exposed to the reality of human trafficking, and what began as awareness quickly became a calling. Compelled by her faith and a deep conviction to be part of the solution, Whitney stepped away from a successful corporate career and into victim advocacy in 2012, taking a bold and unwavering stand against the injustice of human trafficking.
In 2016, she co-founded Dragonfly Human Trafficking Victim Services, building a model designed specifically for individuals who have endured the unique trauma of human trafficking. Whitney and her team have since trailblazed human trafficking victim services in Oklahoma, developing specialized, trauma-informed care that supports survivors as they pursue safety, healing, and long-term stability.
Whitney leads with a deep belief in meeting people exactly where they are, with love, compassion, and dignity, free from shame and judgment. Shaped by years of direct service alongside survivors, as well as her own lived experience of overcoming trauma, she has witnessed critical gaps in how individuals are identified, supported, and connected to care, especially among Indigenous and other underserved communities, and has committed her leadership to closing those gaps.
A proud citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, Whitney is a nationally recognized expert consultant, speaker, and trainer, partnering with healthcare systems, tribal nations, community organizations, and law enforcement to strengthen victim services across the state and nation. Her work is anchored in her faith, sustained by courage, and driven by a relentless commitment to stand in the gap so that every survivor is met with what they need to move forward.
